Beautifully nestled along the northern shore of the Tobique river where it meets the Wolastoq river, Tobique First Nation (Neqotkuk) is the largest rural Wolastoqiyik community.

 

Wolastoqiyik means people of the beautiful river, people that have occupied this traditional territory since time immemorial. We are progressive forward-thinking community, having the first indigenous-owned cannabis dispensary in the province, and are currently pursuing clean energy projects such as the Wacawson Wind Farm.
